Plagiarism Policy

The Rhodes Global Journal of Social Sciences attaches great importance to ethical standards in all scientific work and takes cases of plagiarism seriously. Plagiarism means using the work of others without permission or presenting one's own work as the same as that of others.

The journal adopts a Plagiarism Policy based on the following principles:

1. Compliance with Ethical Rules: Authors are obliged to fully comply with ethical rules. When using or quoting someone else's work, one must obtain necessary permissions and accurately cite sources.

2. Plagiarism Detection Tools: The journal may use various tools to evaluate submitted articles for plagiarism. These tools aim to protect scientific integrity by detecting text similarities.

3. Review and Objection Process: An article detected as plagiarized is notified to the relevant authors and given the chance to defend it. During the objection process, authors are obliged to prove that the material used has been cited correctly and permissions have been obtained.

4. Consequences and Sanctions: Cases of plagiarism are taken seriously. If plagiarism is detected in an article, the journal may refuse publication or retract previously published articles. Additionally, such situations may lead to internal sanctions.
