Rhodes Global Journal of Social Sciences adopts the following archiving policy in order to preserve scientific content, make it accessible and provide constant reference:

1. Archiving Platforms:
- The journal uploads articles to appropriate open access archives and other academic archiving platforms. This provides long-term and broad access to articles.

2. DOI (Digital Object Identifier):
- The journal assigns DOI to each article. This unique ID allows the article to be permanently identified and referenced.

3. Own Archive:
- The journal archives published articles on its own platform. This offers constant access to articles via the website.

4. Data Archive:
- The journal encourages the uploading of research data added to articles to appropriate data archives. This supports scientific transparency by increasing access to data.

5. Open Journal Archives:
- The journal stores its articles in appropriate open journal archives in accordance with the open access principle. This ensures that information reaches large audiences freely.

6. Sustainable Archiving:
- The journal constantly reviews and updates its archiving policy. It follows best practices to ensure sustainable access to articles and to adapt to technological changes.
